Yassir M. Samra, PhD – Instructor and Trader
Dr. Samra has been teaching at the college level (undergrad and MBA) for over 20 years and has been investing and trading for over 25 years in the financial markets and in private ventures. Coming from a background of engineering, Dr. Samra uses the quantitative skills obtained from undergrad and graduate school to make informed decisions trading options and teach primarily the Wheel strategy to others. Using the belief that the US Economy traditionally bounces back,
Dr. Samra focuses on analyzing ETFs that follow a few indexes (mainly the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100, and the Russell 2000) to trade options with less stress and more reliable returns.
Since the lockdown due to the recent pandemic, Dr. Samra has taught hundreds of people the strategies employed on here. Using material from decision theory, probabilities, and psychology,
Dr. Samra continues to guide others in getting them to make their own decisions to achieve financial independence.
Dr. Samra holds two degrees in engineering
(BS Chemical Engineering and MS Industrial Engineering) from NJIT along with two degrees in management (MS Management and PhD Technology Management) from NJIT and Stevens, respectively.
